Thank you for your intrest in our church. We are a congregation that longs to build a closer relationship with our God in Christ and to rejoice in the fellowship he has given to us through our neighbors.
Who are we? We are people gathered around Word and Sacrament, living in the grace that God has given us in his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. What do we believe? Our central belief is that we are saved solely by God’s grace (gift) through faith in Jesus Christ and his work on the cross for all of fallen (sinful) humanity. Living in that grace we are drawn by the Holy Spirit to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. What do we do? We rejoice in God’s Gifts and seek to share them with our neighbors. We have various women’s groups that meet throughout the month for Bible Study, fellowship, and service projects. There is also a men’s group that meets one a month for study and fellowship. We Rejoice in our active chior, our praise band “Off Keys to the Kingdom” and the many people that share their talents to help in worship every week. We enjoy an active Sunday School and Bible Study goups, and we rejoice in those willing to share their love of Christ with our learners (ages 3-93). We have a Bible School every summer that reaches out beyond our community to witness about God’s love and majesty in our life. We reach out to the youngest (ages 3-5) through our Bright Beginnings Preschool. In addition to this, we strive to be active in charitable work in Concordia with time, talent, and donations to the various groups that seek to help neighbors in an organized way.

March 21st is Rock your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD). Participate by wearing brightly colored socks, printed socks, mismatched socks, or even three socks for three chromosomes to support and create awareness. Make someone ask you about your socks so that you can tell them all about WDSD. Tell them everyone has unique qualities. Just like the socks. Whether they are the same or different colored socks, a short sock and a tall sock they serve the same purpose, they might just do it in a unique way. Tell them how people with Down syndrome also may not be “typical,” but they’re still awesome, and how they make our world brighter. Be sure to share on our Facebook page as well.

If anyone is interested in buying some Scentsy, the C.L.U.B. in Christ youth group is having a scentsy fundraiser going on now through May 9th to help raise funds for a mission trip. Contact any of the C.L.U.B. youth, youth leaders, or the office.
Tonight is the night for the Bethany Choir Concert. It starts at 7:00 p.m.
